Stocks rallied sharply on all fronts today with
steels, electronics and rail issues spearheading the first market advance in eight sessions.

Steels rose as a group follow ing prediction that its sales, profits and shipinents would reach peak proportions during the Arst quarter.
Support trickled in
at 1:0 opening but the Advance rapped and lacked conviction. The rally got rolling after the second hour and was led chiefly by the electronics at that time, Of a total 1,220 issues traded, 708 were higher and 317 lower.
