The MCC, despite a batting collapse to- day, seemed set for a winning start to their Caribbean tour after two days' play against the Windward Islands
here.
The touring team were all out for 121 at tea in answer to the Windward Islands' total of 89. But the MCC bowlers again ripped through the home side, who at the close were 69 for seven and led by only 37 runs.
The MCC resumed their first innings at 10 for one wicket to day and lost. Colin Cowdrey with only six runs added.

Boston, Dec. 22. American middleweight! Paul Pender, who on January 22 here will nt- tempt to take away the world title of Sugar Ray Robinson, declared today that professional boxing in the United States is "Infested by gangsters and thieves".
