The president said his reaction Was the same

He hinted that legal prosecution might be initiated against thosa who organised tho faked quis programmes. As soon as the scandal broke out, he said, ha asked the Federal Justice Deportment to look into it.

Mr Dong Kingman, the American water colour painter whose early life was spent in Hongkong today at- tended the opening of an exhibition of his paintings in London.
The exhibition, which consista of water colours and 20 Ink drawings, will be on view until November 25 in London. After that it is expected in go; lo Parls and New York.
Mr Kingman was born in Oakland, California, of Chinese parents, in 1911,
At the age of Ave his parents took hlin back to Hongkong where he first learned to draw on the pavements with chalk.
He returned to Cailfornia. In 1929 and worked as a waiter, houseboy and laundryman until he held his first exhibition in 1935.
Mr Kingman has held two previous exhibliions in London at the American Embassy, He is an instructor of the famous artists school Westport, Con- M. necticut, and at Columbia
