The feeling at Bandung was not Communist, but rather neutralist with JL)? anti- Western flavour.

Since then there has been the Tibetan takeover, the dissolution of the Com-ply munist Kerala Government, the frontier problems of India and China, and the apparent Communist threat to Laos,

Says In Declaration

The three members of the Electricity Commission of Inquiry today made declarations that they did not own any interest in, nor had they over taken part in the management of China Light and Power and Hongkong Electele companies. Mr Dhun Buttonjee, the only local member of the Com- mission, said in his declaration that he last held shares in Fongkong Electrio on September 28, 1951 and Cbins Light on August 28, 1951.

He continued:

"In addition to having ones possessed these sharehold- ings. I am person named as being entitled to portion of a reversionáry "interest in a trust fund erested by my mother If still living drier the fall of her life and of two other per- tons named in 'the Instrument creating the trust,

"Until September 24, 1959 this trust fund contained, inter alia, 1,200 IK Electrie Co., Lid, shares and 800 China Light & Power Co., Ltd.- abares,

"That there was such a trust fund, and that it contained shares in these electrio supply companies, were facts un- known to me until September 23, 1959. All of these shares were disposed of by the trustees on the day after.

"I have no doubt whatsoever that my impartiality in this inquiry will not be affected to the slightest degree by reason of any previous Interests I have had in these two

companies."
