TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE NATIONALIST
ور
River Forest, III., July 19.
A local tournament committee issued a scathing nine-point inuictment today against Wimble- don and US Davis Cup champion Alex Olmedo and charged he deliberately lost a match to Abe Segal of South Africa.
At the same time, however, the 11-man National Clay Courts Committee, meeting in emergency session, refused to make public whether it sub- mitted a recommendation on the Olmedo inci- dent to the parent US Lawn Tennis Associa- tion.
It was emphasised that the group had, no official sanction and its statement was entirely its own doing.
