It
Due to the inclement weather last Thursday the six-a-side. hockey games were postponed. was hoped to complete all fixtures by July 20 80 that the Knock-Out Competition could go ahend. But it seems as though the weather has other ideas.
Games so far postponed are: BMH Hongkong versus Headquarters Land Forces, Camp Staff versus No. 1 Sqn HK Sig Regt, Provost versus Pay 'A', and RE 'A' versus BMH Hong- kong.
No doubt the Committee will, they were certainly made to fight ft these games during the all the way for their victory. current League champianship, and so maintain interest all the way through.
There is no doubt whatsoever that six-a-side hockey is very popular in the Colony, and that it is a fruitful source for the supply of feld hockey talent.
Unfortunately few of our seratch sportsmen stait from these days. Rather they ready made, but it is always a Joy to be able to find the athlete that has started from scratch.

Not one of the remaining teams in the league have been able to re- inx against them, and have always had to fight for their victory. Although RE have played il games to date, and have only collected one point, ther really deserve all the praise for their wonderful *pirit.
The Arst game on Tuesday evening between Provost and Camp Stuf resulted in a 2-2 draw. With the concrete plich shimmering in the heat, both teams got down to playing some good hockey. Hobertson very was always looking for the ball, and played a very good game indeed,

The well-balanced team of the 3rd Training Regiment, Royal Engineers, stationed at Cove (Hants), scored a well-deserved victory in the Army Inter-Unit Team Athletic Championships at Aldershot last week, total- ling 110 points to the 11'Hussars' (Carlisle) 79% points and the 1st Ba East Surrey Regiment's (Bury St Edmunds) 732.
