A better idee of the work done for the lepers at Tai Kam Island Hospital was gained last Saturday by a trip to that colony, by well known realdants who went there at the invitation of the Rer, and Mrs John Lake,

There are about a million lepers in China, most of whom

are found in Kuang- tung. In view of the large number of people afflicted by this dreadful discase the Rev. John Lake has succeeded in catablishing a leper colony in Tat Kam island, which was a gift from the late Dr Wu Ting-fang.

He has also received Anan- oial support from frienda' in the United States and other parts of the world.
