Kirk Douglas had his eye clawed out and was skewered by Tony Curtis in "The Vikings,” but his adversities in that. gory epic were nothing compared to his current problems as co-producer and star of "Spartacus.”
Now in its third month of shooting, the film has been
jinxed from the start.
Douglas has had more battles making the picture than he
has in all his adventure movies.
