PEDRUCO THE HERO OF YESTERDAY'S CRUCIAL MATCH AGAINST SAINTS
By OLLY VAS
Only the word M-A-G-N-I-F-I-C-E-N-T can justifiably describo Vic Pedruco's pitching and fielding when he inspired the underdog Bravos to a thrilling 3-2 victory over arch-rivals Saint Joseph's in yesterday's crucial senior division softball match at King's Park.
As a result of this great win the Commissioner's Shield rests once more on Ed Carvalho's sideboard and to the new champions I extend my heartiest congratulations and that of all the fans.
