Driver Had No Licence, Police Officer Tells Court
A businessman accused of crushing a boy to death while reversing his car had told police he had no driving licence, Victoria District Court was told today. The businessman, Cheung Lai-shek, 50, of 61 Lee Garden Road, third floor, has pleaded not guilty to a charge of dangerous driving, causing the death of Lo Choi-yan, aged six.

A Chinese woman, went to a cafe yesterday to look for her husband who had been employed thore. as a foki. But he had been dismissed.
In a tantrum, the woman pushed four cups and six saucers off the table.
This morning she appeared before Mr T. Creedon at Kowloon Court.
The 29-year-old woman, Yung Shuet-ying, of 17 Tai Cheong Road, Tai Hum Village, ground floor, pleaded guilty to a charge of malicious damage, and was sent to prison for one month.
The prosecution said the incident occurred in the Yuen Yuen Cafe in Prince Edward Road,
She had a previous conviction for a similar offence earlier this month. Then she had been cau- tioned and dismissed.
