The Men On Patterson's Trail BRIAN LONDON GETS
SHERIFF MOORE
RIDES AGAIN
By DENNIS HART
The next heavyweight champion of the world could be a hard-hitting Swede, a blue-eyed Englishman, a giant Cuban. Or it could be a middle-aged American Negro jazz musician, song writer, broadcaster, and crack pistol shot. For the hands that drum a throbbing rhythm on the double-bass beat out a deadlier tattoo in boxing gloves. The brain that dreams up song lyrics is at its quickest in the boxing ring. The good humour of the broadcaster becomes the coldness of the destroyer.
