The three-day Annual Race Meeling of the Ilongkong Jockey Club began lant Baturday at the Valicy, with a programme of Il events.
Top event of the afternoau was the one mile race by Class 1 ponies for the Chinese Club Cop. M. M. Nemasee's Bhiras piloted by A. Ostróumoff "produced a major upset when **** it Anished a head in front of second favourite Red Light, with the top favourite Winsome Bing many lengths behind.
