Seum have limited knowledge. Consequently, staff often do not know even which subject these books are written about. Interestingly, these books were previously viewed by RASHKB members on their visit to Beijing at Easter 1998. Group members were then informed that that was the first time those books had been viewed by Westerners since 1949. We are not only grateful to Dr Gaseltine for her week spent in Beijing but also to Council member, Dr Joseph Ting, for making the arrangements for Dr Gaseltine to visit the library.
