Detroit, Jan. 8. The Soviet Deputy Premier, Mr Arastas Mikoyan, today secused Sir Winston Churchill of beginning the cold war almost 13 years ago.
He told a group of top American industrial leaders at the headquarters of the Ford Motor Company here that the cold war was started by the then Mr Churchill at Fulton, Missouri, in February 1946, with President Truman sitting behind him,
(The State Department yesterday issued a pamphlet re- futing carlier Soviet statements along similar lines, and anying that the cold war was declared by Stalin in a speech in February, 1946,).

rebellion in 1956.
Mr Henry Ford had said when Mr Mikoyan was in Budapest in 1956 he was reported as saying that the Hungarians would be better off if Russina troops loft.
Why was it that within five days, Russian troops had gone into the city to quell the rebellion, Mr Ford had asked,
Mr Mikoyan claimed that the Russians had assisted the Jawful government and pointed out that the United States had done the same thing in the Lebanon,
