A ghostly organist bolievad to haunt a small church here has been "reported" to the Bishop of Exeter, the Rt Rev. Dr R. C. Mortimer.
Mr Frodoric Foo, organist at the Church of St John's has told the Bishop in a letter that on occasions he has folt, a "presence" on the organ stool with him while he has been playing.
The Vicar of St John's The Rev. Anthony Route has in the past complained about the phantom which he believes is the ghost of a young organist who died in 1883.
Mr Rouso said today that the ghost has been scon several times by a number of people and others have heard the organ play when no one was at the keyboard.
