BUNKER HUNT
It's a picture to give heart to golfing rabbits... Bernard Hunt bunkered at Walton Heath in the semi- linal of the professional match play championship on September 13.
But Hunt hit himself out of this difficult lie, which he is pröbing here, and went on to heat Alex Fox.
Hunt, however, lost the ɑnal to Harry Weetman
by one hole.

Dismal Ending To Second Race Between Columbia And Sceptre
NO CONTEST DECLARED
Both Yachts Fail To Finish Within Time Limit Of 5.5 Hours
By JACK V. FOX
Newport, Sept. 22. The second race for the America's Cup had to be declared no contest tonight when the British and American yachts were so slowed by faint winds they did not finish within the time limit.
The sloop Columbia had Britain's Sceptre beaten by almost half a mile but it could not get across the finishing line in the required five and one-half hours. So the whole day of racing went for naught..
It was the first time the 107- year-old international rivalry ended in such dismal fashion.

With the majority of the bail going their way Richardson's XV should do well, and much will depend on the Club back Inc. Both in 'defenco, and st- tack they should have a slight edgo over their opponents, who have not had the same chance to play together, though the combination of Sharp and Goulds may produce a few mur- prises.
