HONGKONG'S now 8,350-foot runway, the first phase of a $128 million international airport, was officially opened by H.E. the Governor, Sir Robert Black lust Friday. Sir Robert, · ·Lady · Black and their daughters crossed the harbour in a helicopter, which flow through and broke a ribbon across the runway to duclore it open. The Governor and his family are acen (right) stepping out of the helicopter at Kai Tak.
