At midnight tonight a commen-
tary on this year's Grand National will be relayed from the General Overseas Service of the BBC. This premior
event of the English steeple- chase season will be broadcast from midnight to 12.30 a.m. The featured singer in "Starlight" on Tuesday evening will be glamor- ous Elvie Del Rio, who has record- ed a varied programme including popular songs of the day and one or two lesser-known numbers, Elvic, who won fame in the Philippines as a top star in the nightclub, radio and recording fields, is one of Hongkong's most popular vocal- ists. She sings from 7.15 to 7.30 p.m. with Nick Demuth and his Quartet. ·
At 9.00
this evening thero will se ព recital by the Chamber Group of the Korean Brandensing System's Symphony Orchestro. They will be playing one of Mozart's Flute Quartets, This Symphony Orchestra ម arrived in Hongkong to give two concerts.
EASTER PROGRAMMES

Plans for Easter programmes include a relay from the Ronan Catholic Cathedral of The Way Of The Cross at 10 o'clock Good Friday morning. a per formance of Bach's The Passion According to St John on Good Friday afternoon, and through- out Easter weekend, with höll- days on the Friday, Saturday, Radio Sunday and Monday, Hongkong wil be broadcasting from 8 am. continuously until 11.30 p.m. each day.
