A loading Communist official said here-to- day he was "convinced" that Mr Jan Masaryk, former Czechoslovak Foreign Minister had been driven to suicido by a "slanderous campaign by his former associates of the Czechoslovak wartime emigre government in London." Mr Jindrich Veseley, head of the party's historical institute here said these associates had ac cused Masaryk-son of the founder of Czecho- slovakia-of "being a traitor and a Moscow agent."
