In the aftermath of the Korean series there have been several intoresting developments and it is not at all surprising that those have provoked a deal of controversy.
It was virtually inevitable for example that the Colony's referees should seek to tighten up the arrangements --or should I say whims which appear to govern the use of substitutes in games against visit- ing sides. I say it was almost inevitable because the Referees Asso- ciation would have been a spineless and worthless body if it had stood meekly by and accepted the unpardonable let-down which Re- feree Mak Yeung-fai was accorded by the officials of the Football Association during the first game against the visitors.
