FIND
Margot Lord, 14-year-old daughter of British textile tycoon Cyril-Lord,-is-a-new-tennis "find" of 62-year-old Eleanor. "Teach" Tennant, who made Tennis Champions like Maureen "Little Mo" Connolly" and Alice Marble.
Six months ago her father thought he spotted real talent in Margot. He asked Miss Tennant to come over from the USA to give her opinion. She stayed three months with the Lords. Now Margot is off to California to be taught by her.
Says Miss Tennant; "Margot has all the physique, aptitude and ambițion. I think she is equipped 100 per cent to make the grade. She wil live in my house and naturally she'll have all the benefits of the Californian climate. How you fa England ever raised such champions as Fred Perry and Dorothy Round I'll never know, with weather like yours." London Express Photo,
