To be televised, or not to be televised. That is one of soccer's bly talking points at the moment. Just because some clubs like Manchester United and Not- tingham Forest refused to be televised without payment during training many people
are saying that footballers are prima donpaa.
Is it true that footballers are afraid of looking at the "dickle bird" in the lelevision camera or the pressman's camera without payment?
Let's be quite frank about this. You wouldn't get a troupe of dancing girls to appear on television without being paid. And in the past, some photographers have taken pictures of footballers either individually or in groups, then sold them Nafer at a profit to themselves.
It is for this reason that some footballers ere д ttle cagey about posing before a camera.
This is a ticklish problem, be- cause every thinking footballer must realize that he is a public entertainer that publicity is good for him and helps him in his profession. At the same tine, no man wants to stand by and see others profit from his ability."
