Craigengowor Cricket Club completed their bumper year in the Colony Lawn Bowls League on Saturday by an- nexing their fourth title of the season-the Second Division lance, L. M. Sousse and W. M. CCC Championship—in a unique fashion.
Pitted against the then bottom-placed Hongkong Cricket Club twelve, they required only three more points to put themselves out of reach of their closest rivals, Club de Recreio, who were engaged against Kowloon Cricket Club the same afternoon, but went down to the cricketers in a sen- sational upset defeat by four points to one.

DECISIVE WIN
A Kowloon Dock Club, the Rectelo four of R. C. Sales, S. A. Collsco, A. P. Perelra and C. C. Pereira, sparked by some brilliant play by their skip, scorcit a decisive 24-14 win overi the KCC four of D. B. Sequeira, H. Phocalx, G. Modar and J. E. Dufteld,

C. Kew, K. Almao, and skips 7. O. Morgan and F. Howarth deserve special mention for their exceptionally fine bowling —throughout-the-afternoon.
Frank Howarth enjoyed one of the best games he has ever played, making no fewer than 40 of his 42 woods count, and given wome very the support from his front men, R. C. Trail. N. Heaton, and A. W. Brown, there was little that the Craigen- gower four of P. R. Rag), S. 1. Solina T. A. Leonard" and R. Tay could do to stop thelr oppeneuls from secring a com- -fortible 24-13 win!
The second HKCC four of A. E. Coleman, W. H. Pritchard, D. Trall and T. O. Morgan were 2-7 down against G. F. Santos, A. K. Ismail, J. Pau and F. O. Madar by the eighth head but picked up a three and a four on the next two heads 10 ∙lend, by 9-7 at the ten interval. After tea there was only one team in the match and that was the HKCC four. They piled up ning shots on the next four beads and ended up with a convinet 26-11 win,
On the third rink the HKCC four of K..Almao, W. Rees, L C. Kew and F. Marshall were rather unfortunate. In not being. abit to collect a fifth point for their side. Drawn against the Jeuging Second Division four, of L.M. Silva, K. K. Pavri, R, 0. Baker and M. Q. Wong, they showed that they were a match for any four in this division when they took a 10-1 lead by: the fifth head and corried it to 12-3 by the seventh head.
THEN A LAPSE
A lapse by them on the next five heads proved to be their undoing. The CCC four piled) up four twos and single, lo draw level at .12-12 and gradually take the lead at 17-14. by the 10th Trend. Although the HKCC four drew level at 17-17, they lost a Ave on the 19th head and could only muster a three and a single n the last two heads to lose by 21-23.

Tsai, E. P. White, G. Lee and R. 9. Capell in particular, for presenting them the Ulle by their brillant 3-2 win over Itccreio.

BEST FOOTBALL
The gam between Vietnam and Singapore produced some of the best football ever seen in this part of the world. The two teams, which played yes- terday for 100 minutes without a decision, were almost as close today in power and skill as they
