Labour MPs Look
Into Ill-Treatment
Of
Cypriots
London, June 17.
Two British Labour Members of Parliament are to ask the Government to investigate com- plaints of ill-treatment, lodged by eight Cypriots serving sentences for Eoka terrorist activities, whom they saw in prison here today.
Altogether 15 Cypriots now serving sentences! ranging from 12 years to life in London's Worm- wood Scrubs gaol alleged maltreatment during interrogations in Cyprus.
Mr Fenner Brockway, Chair- mau of the Labour Movement for Colonial Freedom, told re- porters this afternoon that he and Mes Jeannie Lee bad decided that there was prima facle case for investigation.
