Heads of three trade unions in Hongkong, representing 2,000 locally employed personnel working for the Service Depart- ments handed protests to their appropriate authorities yester- day morning.
The trade unions were the War Department Civilian Staff Associa- tion which protested to the Deputy Command Secretary HQLF; the Local Admiralty Clerks Association which protested to the Commodore Super- intendent RN Dockyard; and the Air Ministry Civilian Staff Association which protested to the Air Officer Commanding.
