Lord Altrincham accused the Victoria League for Empire Friendship today of "humbug of the most obscene and squalid kind" regarding coloured Commonwealth students in new arrangements at its club in West London.
Lord Altrincham, 32-year-old Etonian and editor of a conservative monthly review, resigned from two lengue committees last March because he alleged a colour bar was being operated at the club in Leinster Square, West London.
