UTILITIES DOMINATE MARKET NY COTTON FUTURES
Buying Spree Expected To Taper Off
By A SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT Utilities dominated the Hongkong Stock Telephones Exchange with Trams and prominent during a week of steady trading. The marked demand for blue chips pushed the value of Trams and Telephones up 40 cents. over the week with other utilities closing on a firm note.

The turnover for the week was $4,15 million-nearly !!! lakhs more than lost week- with a tally of eleven higher. nino unchanged and four lower as compared with the prev vus week's taily of eight higher, Geven steady and nine lower,
China Provident
China Provident continued to improve goluing 60 cents during the week to close at $13, while Wharves closed at $100, losing $1 over the weck comparest with a gain of $7 the previous week.
