US AIR FORCE GIVES UK

REWARDS FOR

MONEY SAVING IDEAS

Weisbaden, May 9.

An award of $1,100 (about £370) awaits the airman with the idea which saves the most money during 1957 for the United States Air Force European Command, which also includes Britain, North Africa and the Middle East.

Until now, the top award has been $500. But Command headquarters here has announced that its suggestions scheme, introduced in 1954, has been so successful that awards at all levels are to be increased.
