Surcharge of 15% on Base Rates of Freight from Hong Kong Thrift Area and Shanghai and North Chinn Tariff Area.

In accordance with the Press Announcement mado on 27th September the application of a Surcharge has remained in abeyance pending developments in the Suez Canal situation. Shippers were reminded that all quotations, cargo bookings and engaguments would continue to be subject to the rate of surcharge (if any) ruling at the commencement of loading the particular ship in the port of shipment concerned or, in the case of Through Cargo from Outports, at the date of the Through Bill of Lading.

In the light of recent devēlojiments, the Conference Lines now And it necessary to bring into effect 11 Surcharge of 155. nett (no discounts or rebutos).
