Last night at the Ritz, another concert was given by the Hongkong Concert Orchestra in their sphere, which adds so much to these delightfully series of promenade concerts. Dr T. M. Teoh, Police Pathologist, gave evi- dence this morning in the trial of Qulk Bah-chee, charged with the murder of Mr Arthur John Clifford, well-known barrister, on August 4 outside the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank.

Mr Raymond Huang gave the first of his two violin recitals at Queen's College on Saturday night. The second will take place at Queen Elizabeth's School, Kowloon, next Saturday; the programme will be the same.
Mr Huang is a teacher of the violin with a wide following in Hongkong.
