ARMY BOXING TRIALS
THE LIST OF CRIPPLES GROWS LONGER AS THE GAMES APPROACH
By "RECORDER”
The list of great names in the world of athletics now on the crippled list grows longer and longer. To mention just a few of the better known-John Landy, Dave Ste phens, Roger Moens, Ronnie Delaney, Tom Courtney, Gunnar Nielsen, Mer vin Lincoln, Sandor Rozsnyoi.
Meanwhile, the waning months of the European athletic season have brought forth a host of new good class performers. While not up to the standard of the established stars and lacking their experience, these men will nevertheless be in n position to pull off some upsets.
