Not As Eventful A Year, But History Has Again Been Made

The 1955-56 badminton sezgon was not as oventful' as the one that preceded it, but history has again been made in that the HKBA entered the Ladles Inter- national Badminton Championships, the Uber Cup, states the Annual Report of the Hongkong Badminton Association for the year ending June 30, 1956.

During the year, the Association has not only improved internal matters such as the revision of the Rules and Regulations and the revival of the Official Hand- book, but also made elaborate preparations for the first round Uber Cup Match with Malaya, apart from arranging exhibition games for two foreign visiting teams, 'the Malayan Indian Team and the Thailand Unity Badminton Party.
