Looking over the Gold Medal prospects in the hurdles and field events at the Olympic Games at Melbourne in November, one is struck essentially by the fact that several men who have long been the leaders in their particular events look as good as ever for the winner's rostrum,
Jack Davis in the High Hurdles, Yurly Lituyev in the Low Hurdles, Bob Richards in the Pole Vault, Leonid Shcherbakov in the Hop, Step and Jump, Parry O'Brien in the Shot Put, Adolfo Consolini in the Discus Throw and Mikhail Krivonosov in the Hammer Throw all look excellent prospects on the current year's form to become Olympic Champions,
