Manslaughter Charge Against Cpl.
Corporal Richard Moore, 22, an Army tank commander of the 7th Queen's Own Hussars, appeared before Mr T. Creedon at Kowloon Court this morning in committal proceedings on a man- slaughter charge arising out of a train-tank collision.
The manslaughter charge is in respect of Yu Choi-po, the train guard, who was killed in the collision at Bird's Hill level crossing near Tau Pass, New Territories, on November 12, last year. The accident also caused the death of tank wireless operator, Trooper David Couling, and injured six others.
