STAGE BEING CARIBBEAN FEDERATION

Port of Spain, Dec. 5.

The stage is being set for the final Act of Federation which will merge the 3,000,000 and more inhabitants of the scattered British West Indies islands into the world's newest nation.

While no definite announcement has yet been made concerning when the final of many federal conferences will be held, Mr Albert Gomes, Trinidad's Minister of Labour, Industry and Commerce, and one of the architects of federation, declared here recently: "It is the understanding of all the West Indian Governments that plenipotentiary delegates to this meeting will assemble in London in January.'

Other Collections

Motorcycles in the collection are mostly Czech machines of the early years of this century, but there is also a 1905 model of o German heavy pacing machine with wide handlebars for motor-paeod cycling races.

Mr Vondrich says the world's second biggest collection of old aycles is in London and the third at Basie, in Switzerland. He also bouats extensive archives in homo hago, including bound copies of Czech and foreign vycling magazines, some' dating back more than 60 years, and photographs and medals which bo won during his racing days.

Among the documents lea record of a visit to this country in 1880 by a British gpolisi, Theodoro Beck, which Mr. Youdrich Bald gave impetus to the Czech cycle manufacturing

industry.
