GORDON RICHARDS HAS HIS S EYES ON

THE PIGEON DERBY

By VERNON MORGAN

It seems almost customary these days for writers of an autobiography to finish with a confession and an ambition. Sir Gordon Richards, probably the most famous jockey of all time, has maintained the tradition.

In "My Story," published by Hodder and, Stonghton, London, he confesses the secret of his great success as a rider-the jockey must have the will to win. And he discloses his ambitions to win the Jackson Cup, the blue riband, for curling and to own a pigeon which wins the pigeon derby.
