Attempted Murder Charge Against Young Chinese
A bespectacled young man, Tam Fook-wing, 24, stood trial at the Criminal Sessions this morn- ing accused of having thrown a 12-year-old lad over a verandah 34 feet above street level.

Tam pleaded not gullly to a charge of wounding the boy with intent to murder, an alternativo one alleging intent to do the boy grievous bodily harm, and a third charge of simple wounding of the boy's mother.
