Tallahassee, Fla., Dec. 20.
A former geography professor who served as student counsellor testified today that a "number of girls" at Florida State University came to him "in tears and threatening suicide" because of homosexual activities on the campus.
Professor Robert Leathers told the acting Governor, Mr Charles Johns, that he was "con- cerned about the widespread practice of sex perversion at the school.

Doctor Claims Contacts In Outer Space
CHICAGO THREATENED BY TIDAL WAVE TODAY
Chicago, Dec. 20.
Dr Charles Laughead, who predicts the end of the world by 1955, said today that a last-minute check with informants in outer space had “con- firmed” that tidal waves and earthquakes would engulf Chicago and the Middle West tomorrow.
Dr Laughead expects the massive upheavals may extend to the East and West Coasts as well.
The Chicago Weather Bureau was unimpressed. It issued routine, humdrum forecasts for cloudy and chilly weather tomorrow.
