HONG KONG AIRPORT

Confusing to motorists on the Southampton Road is this building at Black- bushe Airport clearly marked "Hongkong”—the explanation is that it is being used in the Michael Balcon-Ealing Studios film “THE NIGHT MY NUMBER CAMÉ UP”,

directed by Leslie Norman.

Probably the most exacting trial ever imposed upon footballer was that carried out last week by the Football Association to prove whether West Bromwich Albion's centre-forward Ronnie Allen was the player England needed at Wembley against Wales and later in that wing position against Germany.

Allen was at centre-forward for his club against Aston Villa on Saturday, played a practice against Charlon Athletic on Monday, another against Chelsen on Tuesday and was then pitchforked into the FA XI against the Army at Sheffield on Wednesday.
