Snowy River HQ Has Put
Cooma On The Map

Sydney, Aug. 27.
For many months now we have been hearing of a new Klondike down on the Snowy, so this week we visited Cooma to have a look at this slice of rip- roaring life in the raw.
As we are unlikely to be hitting the track down Cooma way again for some considerable time, can we say right now that what kept this dusty, unhappy looking town together. in pre- Snowy project days is something that has us deeply baffled.
The saving grace
now is the well designed and neatly laid out headquarters of the Snowy River Authority --- a huge building for this part of the world and which will remain да др administrative centre even in the years when the schemo itself is a reality.
