An easing of United States regulations, which enabled Japanese war
criminals serving terms of more than 30 years to become eligible for parole after ten years of their term five years became effective on sooner than heretofore July 12 with the approval of President Eisen- hower, it was disclosed today.
The new regulation came to light today as the result of a visit by Mr Sadao Iguchi, Japanese Ambassador, on the Deputy Under-Secretary of State, Mr Robert Murphy.
