Farmer Accused Of Murdering His Mother

Tang Kau, a 39-year-old farmer, stood trial before Mr Justice C. W. Reece, Puisne Judge, at the Criminal Sessions, this morning on a charge of murdering his 50-year-old mother.

Tang, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, was represented by Mr R. W. S. Winter, instructed by Mr G. Golby, of Johnson, Stokes and Masters. Mr D. N. E. Rea, Crown Counsel, prosecuted, assisted by Det. Insp. D. Brown.
