West Trade experts from 25 East and European countries, including the Soviet Union and Britain, will start talks behind closed doors today aimed at expanding East-West trade.

The talks, held under the auspices of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, are expected to last about two weeks.

All the Eastern European countries will be re- presented and all Western Europe with the ex- ception of Spain, Iceland and Eire.
