IT LOOKS LIKE ARMY AND NAVY WILL HAVE TO SHARE PENTANGULAR TITLE
By "PAK LO”
After Saturday afternoon's game at Sookunpoo it looks as if the Army and Navy will have to share the honours in the Pentangular Tournament this year as the Army, rather surprisingly, beat the favoured Navy side by 13 points (2 goals, 1 try) to nil, in a hard and fast battle which ranged, up and down the field for the whole period and had the large crowd cheering its head off.
Previous to this the Club were lucky to beat the Police by 6 points (2 tries) to 3 points (1 try),

Stop Kidding! Let's Win The Bradman Way
Says HARRY ANDREW
British sport has made quite a start to 1954. With the year five weeks old, Scotland's Rugby team has been beaten by France; England's under-23 footballers have been walloped by young Italy; and the English Test cricketers have been out- played by the West Indies!
Now, I am a fellow who likes to see Britain win, and I make no bones about it. Consequently, I was not too gracious to the friend who said: "Why worry? It is only a game.”
So let us get down to brass And let us get a correct per-use gamesmanship to beat a pal We wouldn't tacks, shall we?
