Allegations that the accused killed his former shop mistress with a chopper were made by the Crown when Tsoi Muk-li, 25, appeared on trial for the murder of Tse Sai, 41, before the Puisne Judge, Mr Justice C. W. Reece in the Criminal Sessions this morning.
Tsoi was accused of attacking the deceased with a chopper outside her shop premises at 42 Tin Hau Temple Hill Road on the afternoon of May 12 last, causing, wounds to her face and neck from which she died almost instantaneously.
The accused made no answer to the indictment when it was read to him by the Judge's clerk. His Lordship informed accused's Counsel that he would record that as a plea of not guilty, to which Counsel agreed.
