Spotlight On The Ladies' League
By "SNOOPER”
One of the best performances of the day in the Hongkong Softball Association week-end programme was given by Pearl Chan's Pandas who inflicted upon Benita Remedios Colleens their second defeat by winning 11-to-9 in the Ladies' League af King's Park yesterday, the feature of the keenly-contested tussle being the home run of centre-felder Stella Pih in the sixth inning.
Another good display in the Ladies' circuit came from Terry Noronha's six- time Champions who retained their unbeaten record by trouncing the Chinese Athletic Association by 14-to-1 to hang up their fifth straight victory.

Improved Club Side Puts
Up A Grand Game To Beat Favoured Army XV
By "PAK LO”
treated Spectators at Boundary Street on Saturday were
to a first class match when the greatly altered and improved Club side whacked the favoured Army XV to the tune of 16 points (two tries and two goals) to five points (one goal)..
This was indeed a great surprise to all present, as it was thought that even with the changes in the Club team they would be unable to withstand the pressure of the Army.
