In partnership with 1950 co-Champlon Francis Lee, J. S. Landolt, who has already won the Colony Open Singles and Open Rinks Lawn Bowls Championship titles in previous seasons, got closer yesterday to emulating the late U. M. Omar's feat of having been a Champion in every event.

In the final of the Open Pairs event played at the Kowloon Bowling Green Club yesterday under ideal weather conditions, Landolt and Lee overcame the generally-conceded 40-60 odds against them to beat the Luz brothers, Joe and Raoul, by 23-20.
