Of Bowlers, Is Dead

With the death on Saturday, August 29, at his Wanstead home of Mr Archibald McNeish, the world of bowls loses one of its most illustrious personalities. The name of "Archie" McNeish has been known to bowls players wherever in the world that game is played.

At the funeral service on Wednesday, September 2, at the City of London Crematorium, bowls players-both the humble and the famous-from all over the Home Counties and further afield, gathered to pay respects.
