United States officials today rejected Soviet charges that it was intended at the Big Three Western power conference in Bermuda next month to formulate conditional demands for a later meet- ing with the Soviet Union.
Diplomatic sources added that they were not impressed by further allegations made in the Soviet newspaper Pravda that the forthcoming meeting between the United States, Britain and France would lead to a worsening of world tension. They said that there was no intention of amending plans for the meeting because of the attitude expressed in the Soviet newspaper.
