A claim brought against The Luna Park Ltd. of King's Road for $13,712.45 being food supplied was adjourned by the Puisne Judge, Mr Justice T. J. Gould in the Supreme Court this morning, to enable Counsel for the plaintiff to make neces- sary application for leave to proceed with the action.

In the handling of airmail the Hongkong Postal Service is at least equal to London's; in speed and accuracy in dealing with large quantities | of mails it is second to none in the world.

When he opened a new counter and public hall in the Hongkong Post Office this morning, His Excellency the Governor, Sir Alexander Grantham, paid tribute to the staff who kept the service running 60 smoothly, and the ingenuity of those who had decided to improve the old Post Office when Government funds had made it impossible to build a new

The aim of postal administration all over the world was to afford the best possible service to the public, the Governor said. From his own experience with airmail he was fully aware that the Hongkong Past Office was at least equal to London's, and generally he was satisfied that in speed and accuracy it was second to none.
